Parcel senders will be served first: "Ukrposhta" changed the queues
New rules are in effect in municipal branches with two or more service windows
From 23 September «Ukrposhta» changed the customer service procedure in city branches where two or more service windows are open. Visitors sending parcels will be served first, and after them — those who came to collect shipments.
The company explained that air raid alerts shorten branch operating hours. If employees do not manage to accept a parcel before the corresponding mail run departs, its delivery may be delayed.
At the same time «Ukrposhta» plans to speed up the distribution of shipments so that people spend less time in branches. To do this, they will use express windows and internal parcel lockers.
To get into the correct queue, a visitor must tell the operator whether they are sending a parcel or picking one up. The employee will direct the customer to the appropriate window and determine the service order.
Other operations remain unchanged. Payment of pensions and social assistance, acceptance of payments and provision of other services will continue as usual.
«Ukrposhta» also reminded that it fully reimburses the cost of parcels lost during attacks.
