Ukraine has accumulated 14.6 billion cubic meters of gas for the 2026/2027 winter
The target level in the reservoirs was reached ahead of schedule
Ukraine has accumulated in its underground gas storage 14.6 billion cubic meters. The target filling level was reached a month earlier than scheduled, so the formed reserves are sufficient for the baseline scenario for the 2026/2027 heating season.
This was stated by the First Vice Prime Minister — Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

The early completion of the plan became possible thanks to the work of Ukrainian gas-producing companies, the GTS Operator of Ukraine, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, and employees of the fuel and energy sector.
At the same time, preparation of the power system for the winter period continues in other areas.
Earlier it was reported that in the Bashtan District gas supply will be turned off for nine days. The restrictions will apply to the list of streets published in a separate notice.
