In Mykolaiv, during preventive raids, administrative cases were drawn up for drinking alcohol and for driving without documents
Police officers checked compliance with public order in places of mass gatherings and spoke with minors who were on the street late in the evening without adults
In Mykolaiv, officers of the Department of Preventive Activities of the regional police headquarters, together with juvenile prevention inspectors, patrol officers, special forces and representatives of other services, conducted a preventive operation. This was reported by the Communications Department of the Mykolaiv Regional Police.
Law enforcement ensured order in places of mass gatherings, spoke with residents and reminded them of the ban on consuming alcohol in public places and the need to observe public order.
Juvenile police held preventive talks with minors who were found late at night on the street without adult supervision.
As a result of the operation, law enforcement officers filed administrative reports:
- under parts 1 and 2 of Article 178 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses — for drinking alcohol in prohibited places and appearing in public places while intoxicated;
- under part 4 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses — for driving a vehicle without the required documents or while subject to a temporary suspension of the right to drive.
The police reminded that in Mykolaiv the curfew lasts from 00:00 to 05:00. During this period it is prohibited to be on the streets without a valid reason.
Law enforcement called on citizens to take the established restrictions seriously, to maintain order and to look after the safety of children. Checks on compliance with public order and the curfew continue.
Note that the duration of the curfew in Mykolaiv Oblast has been changed.
