Russian forces have deployed a new strike kamikaze drone carrying two anti-tank mines TM-62; it was spotted on the Snihurivka axis in Mykolaiv Oblast. The use of such a drone was reported by the President of Ukraine’s adviser on the development of defense technology directions, Serhii (Flesh) Beskrestnov, and details are also provided by the publication «Militarnyi».

“Visually the drone resembles the “Molniya” family. It has a twin-boom fuselage, with a hardware compartment containing a battery located in the central section. Attention is drawn to the large size of the wing and tailplane — likely to increase range and glide time,” the publication «Militarnyi» noted.

According to available images, an electric motor of an unknown type is installed on each wing console, and TM-62 mines are attached to the nose; in the tail there appears to be an element that serves as a counterweight to the warhead for stability in flight.

According to the publication «Militarnyi», this layout was previously seen on “Molniya-2” models, and commenters on their post note that such drones have already been observed on the Snihurivka axis in Mykolaiv Oblast.
