Ukrzaliznytsia changes routes in the east for security reasons

On the "Kryvyi Rih — Dnipro", "Pyatykhatky — Dnipro" and "Lozova — Orilka" sections, bus shuttle services are being introduced, and some western routes will be limited to Ternopil and Lviv

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported a temporary change of routes for some trains in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, as well as on the Zaporizhzhia line; additional transfers and connections have been organized, and valid tickets can be used on any train until the end of the day on 8 August even if the route changes.

To ensure connections, the company launched bus transfers on the sections Kryvyi Rih – Dnipro, Piatykhatky – Dnipro and Lozova – Orilka.

Passengers traveling with tickets for trains No.32 Przemyśl – Zaporizhzhia, No.86 Lviv – Dnipro, No.286 Lviv – Dnipro, No.42 Truskavets – Dnipro and No.40 Solotvyno – Zaporizhzhia can, without extra charge, use electric trains to the stations Kamianske-Pasazhyrske and Verkhnodniprovsk with their existing travel documents.

In the western direction, services with the largest delays will temporarily run to Ternopil and Lviv with onward transfers. These changes concern, in particular, trains No.41/42 Dnipro – Truskavets, No.87/88 Dnipro – Kovel, No.83/84 Dnipro – Mukachevo and others.

The carrier clarified that until the end of the day on 8 August passengers may choose any train and travel with their valid tickets, even if their original route was changed.

Railway staff ask passengers to arrive at stations in advance, comply with safety requirements and carefully follow announcements on trains and at stations.
