A man is in serious condition, houses damaged: Russians struck the Mykolaiv region with rockets and drones
Do not ignore the alert — these strikes were once again aimed at civilian targets
Russian occupying forces during July 6 and in the night of July 7, 2026 attacked Mykolaiv region with missiles and strike drones. As a result of enemy strikes 3 people were wounded; one of the injured is in serious condition. Residential houses, storage facilities, an enterprise and a facility in a recreational area were damaged.
Around 16:30 on July 6 Russian forces struck the Ochakiv community. According to preliminary data from the Mykolaiv RMA, the enemy used air-launched missiles Kh-59/69.
As a result of the attack a 61-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were wounded. Both injured were taken from the scene to the hospital.
As of the morning of July 7 the man was in a stable condition of moderate severity. The woman, after receiving necessary medical care, was transferred to outpatient treatment.
The Russian strike in the Ochakiv community damaged a building in a recreational area, storage facilities and 4 apartment buildings.
Another attack occurred around 19:30 on July 6. Enemy drones struck the territory of an enterprise in the Mykolaiv district. According to updated data from the RMA, the strike hit the Mishkovo-Pohorilivska community.
As a result of the attack a 59-year-old man sustained bodily injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a medical facility.
As of the morning of July 7 the injured person was in serious but stable condition. The enemy strike damaged a storage facility. A fire broke out on the enterprise’s premises, which rescuers extinguished.
In addition, during July 6 and the morning of July 7 Russian forces 11 times attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities with FPV drones and a Molniya-type strike UAV (“Molniya”).
During one of the strikes in the village of Dmytrivka a private residential house was damaged. According to the regional military administration, no one was injured.
At the sites of the Russian attacks investigators from the department for investigating crimes committed in the context of an armed conflict, investigators of the regional police investigative directorate, explosives specialists and investigative-operational teams from the police units of the Mykolaiv district administration worked.

Law enforcement inspected the damaged sites, documented the consequences of another war crime by Russia against the civilian population, and seized physical evidence.
A pre-trial investigation is ongoing into the shellings under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war.
The police urged residents of Mykolaiv region not to neglect the danger during air raid alerts:
“Dear citizens, do not ignore air raid signals. Proceed to shelter and remain there until an official all-clear is announced”.
