Mykolaiv rowers won four medals at the Kirovohrad Regional Championship
The athletes won two gold medals, a silver, and a bronze

Mykolaiv athletes won four medals at the Open Championship of Kirovohrad Oblast in kayaking and canoeing.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The competition took place 20 June 2026 in the city of Haivoron and was dedicated to the memory of soldier-athlete Dmytro Reynysh.
Mykolaiv was represented at the championship by students of the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve for rowing sports.
Stanislav Tsompel won three medals:
- gold in the C2 (two-person canoe) 200-meter race;
- silver in the C1 (single canoe) 200-meter race;
- bronze in the C1 (single canoe) 500-meter race.
Artem Branishte also won the C2 (two-person canoe) 200-meter race.
The athletes were prepared for the competition by coaches Halyna Zatulivyter and Oleksandr Striuchkov.
