Enemy drones caused fires in the Mykolaiv region: rescuers showed the aftermath of the strikes

Three fires were recorded, two of which were caused by enemy attacks

During June 18 and the night of June 19, 2026, 3 fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. Two of them resulted from attacks by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

In the evening of June 18, as a result of hostilities, a fire broke out on the territory of the Ochakiv community of Mykolaiv district.

The fire engulfed a fuel storage tank that was not in use at the time, a Nissan passenger car, and dry grass.

Rescuers arrived on site and extinguished the blaze. There is no information about any casualties from this fire.

During the night of June 19, Russian forces again attacked Mykolaiv district.

As a result of one of the enemy strikes in the village of Tuzly of the Koblivska territorial community, a cargo truck carrying a tractor caught fire. A 37-year-old man died during this attack.

Another fire during the day was recorded in the Voznesensk district. Dry grass caught fire in an open area there.

The fire spread over an area of 500 square meters. Specialists are determining the cause of the ignition.

In total, 20 rescuers and 4 units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fires and dealing with the consequences of the Russian attacks.

Additionally, firefighters of the local fire brigade “Rybakivka” worked on site.
