Mobile communications will not be turned off during alerts: the CPD debunked a fake about law 395/2026
395/2026 — numbers of other acts; decisions to restrict telecommunications in Ukraine were not adopted
In Ukraine today the Center for Countering Disinformation refuted messages circulating in the information space about the alleged existence of “Law No. 395/2026” that would provide for the shutdown of mobile communications during air raid alerts.
The agency emphasized that the information being spread is not true and has no legal basis.
According to the Center, no laws or decrees have been adopted in Ukraine that would introduce restrictions or shutdowns of mobile communications during air raid signals.
It is separately noted that the government resolution and presidential decree numbered 395/2026 concern other matters and have no relation to the regulation of the telecommunications sector.
The Center urged people not to trust unverified messages and to verify information about changes in legislation with official sources of state authorities.
