Three children were killed during an attack by a Russian drone in the Mykolaiv region
A strike on Tokarivka killed four people
In Tokarivka in the Mykolaiv region, three children were killed as a result of an attack by a Russian strike drone. 22 August was declared a day of mourning in the region for the victims.
Kolosivskyi Lyceum named the three of its students who were victims of the strike and published their photographs. Killed were:
- Oleksandr Miroshnychenko, born in 2014;
- Amir Matak, born in 2013;
- Radmir Matak, born in 2014.
The school noted that all three were young children. Their deaths were a heavy loss for their families, loved ones, teachers and classmates.
The staff of Kolosivskyi Lyceum expressed sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and emphasized that it shares their pain.
“There is nothing more terrible and painful than the loss of a child,” — reads the statement from Kolosivskyi Lyceum.
Teachers and students also honored the memory of the deceased pupils. They noted that the memory of the children will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.
In total, four people were killed in the strike on Tokarivka: three children and a 30-year-old man. Among the deceased children were two 11-year-old boys and a 13-year-old teenager.
One more person — a 36-year-old woman — was injured and hospitalized.
