83 children in Korabelnyi have already been officially recognized as victims of the war
There are currently nine cases in progress
Specialists of the Children’s Affairs Service of the administration of the Korabelnyi District reviewed applications for granting the status of a child who suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts.
As of 8 May 2026, such status in the Korabelnyi District of the city of Mykolaiv has been granted to 83 persons. Another four persons were denied.
One draft decision of the executive committee has also been prepared, and nine cases are currently under consideration.
This concerns children whose lives have been directly or indirectly affected by the war: shelling, forced displacement, psychological consequences, loss of safety and a normal childhood. The status itself does not undo what was experienced, but it is an official recognition that the child suffered as a result of Russian aggression.
