Point your smartphone — and you'll immediately know the water situation: Mykolaiv has launched a QR check
What you're filling your bottles with: water test results revealed via QR codes
In Mykolaiv, residents can receive up-to-date information about water quality at distribution points via QR codes placed on information boards. This was reported on 5 May 2026 by KP “DEZ “Pilot”.
The company explained that to view the data it is enough to scan the QR code with a smartphone. After that, the user will be able to find out the results of the water testing at a specific distribution point at any convenient time.
This format should make information about water quality more accessible to residents who use distribution points. This is especially important for Mykolaiv, where water supply and water quality issues after Russian attacks and infrastructure destruction remain among the most painful for residents.
The message also reminded readers about the interactive map “KhodyDoVody“, where you can find information about water distribution points in the city.
