Grenade explosion in an apartment: a 45-year-old man killed, a woman injured, 11-year-old son unharmed
The incident was recorded during the day on April 23; explosive ordnance technicians are working at the scene, and investigators are deciding whether to open an investigation
In Mykolaiv, in the Lisky neighborhood during the day on 23 April a grenade exploded in an apartment of a multi-storey building: a man was killed, a woman was injured.
Law enforcement received the report of the incident during the day on 23 April. According to the National Police, a forensic-operational team, explosives technicians, medics and rescuers were dispatched to the call. Source: Police Facebook page.
According to preliminary information, a grenade detonated in the apartment. On the spot a 45-year-old man was killed, his partner, a 38-year-old woman, was wounded.
Also in the apartment was the 11-year-old son of the injured woman — according to preliminary information, the child was not harmed.
Investigators and explosives technicians are currently working at the scene, establishing the circumstances of the incident and deciding whether to open a criminal case.
