The Ukrzaliznytsia app now shows statistics on delays and evacuation stops
The data for ten days will help you plan your trip better
Passengers have received a new trip-planning feature in the Ukrzaliznytsia app: they can check the average number of evacuation stops and delays for a selected train. This information can help them prepare for possible unforeseen circumstances along the way.
The figures are based on statistics from the past 10 days. This period was chosen to ensure the information reflects the current situation for a particular service.
At the same time, these figures are for informational purposes only. They provide a reference for estimating possible disruptions during a trip, but are neither a guarantee nor a promise that the train will run without delays.
In October, the proportion of delayed trains fell significantly. Passenger safety remains Ukrzaliznytsia’s top priority.
The reference data is expected to be updated regularly. This should help passengers make more informed choices about routes and services, taking into account possible delays and evacuation stops.
Previously, we reported:
- The Lviv–Mykolaiv train is delayed by 1 hour and 32 minutes
- If the train can’t make it, a bus will take you: Ukrzaliznytsia tests combined routes
- The Mykolaiv–Kyiv train is three hours behind schedule after a Russian attack
- Trains from Mykolaiv top the delay rankings: delays exceed 16 hours
- More than 100 services delayed after shelling: rail disruption will continue for at least another day
