The Mykolaiv — Kyiv train is delayed by three hours after the Russian attack

Due to a massive attack on Kyiv, some passenger trains are running several hours behind schedule. Train No. 121/122 Mykolaiv-Pasazhyrskyi — Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi is delayed by 3 hours, Ukrzaliznytsia reported. According to services.uz.gov.ua.

As of 13:34 the Mykolaiv train had the status “Preparing”. Its estimated arrival time is determined with medium reliability.

The largest delays as of 13:41 affected trains from central regions of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia and the Dnipropetrovsk region:

• No. 17/18 Uzhhorod — Kharkiv — 7 hours 30 minutes;
• No. 23/24 Chełm — Kyiv — 6 hours 35 minutes;
• No. 233/234 Kryvyi Rih — Chernivtsi and No. 293/294 Kryvyi Rih — Rakhiv — each 6 hours 4 minutes;
• Zaporizhzhia — Przemyśl and Dnipro — Uzhhorod — each 6 hours.

Despite the attack, Ukrzaliznytsia did not stop passenger services. During the air threat, boarding and disembarking at Kyiv’s Central Station and Darnytsia station were carried out through underground passages.

Both capital stations were not damaged. After the all-clear for the air raid, traffic began to gradually return to normal.

Passengers who missed boarding their train due to the delay can apply for a refund through the “Claim-based ticket refund” service on the Ukrzaliznytsia website. An electronic application must include documents proving the reason for the refund and be signed using “Diia.Sign”.

The company updates operational data on delays on the uz-vezemo portal. Passengers will also receive push notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia app.
