Two killed and about 10 injured: drone struck a market near Kyiv

In the evening of 27 September Russia attacked Sofiivska Borshchahivka in Kyiv Oblast. An attack drone struck the territory of the «Stolychnyi» market: two people were killed, and approximately 10 more people, according to preliminary data, were injured. According to Telegram @medvidolexandr.

The strike on the market in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, Bucha district was confirmed by the acting village head of Borshchahivka, Oleksandr Medvid and the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office. Initially Oleksandr Medvid reported on the strike itself: all relevant services were dispatched to the scene, and information was still being clarified at that time. Later he provided details about the fatalities.

After the attack a fire broke out on the market grounds. Rescuers continue extinguishing the fire and dealing with the aftermath of the strike.

Oleksandr Medvid appealed to residents with the following call:

Be careful and take care of yourselves. Do not ignore air raid warnings.
