Fires broke out in Mykolaiv due to Russian attacks: 4 people were killed

Yesterday during the day and at night Russian forces continued massive attacks on Mykolaiv. Port and industrial infrastructure, as well as civilian facilities in the city, came under attack.

The following were damaged:

• residential buildings;
• a hotel;
• storage facilities;
• an administrative building;
• a garage;
• a vehicle;
• other objects.

As a result of the attacks, 4 people were killed. A further 19 people were injured, including 4 children.

Fires broke out at the impact sites. By morning all blazes had been extinguished.

During the firefighting operation at the hotel, firefighters rescued 4 people, including 2 young children.

Volunteers from the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society also worked at the attack sites.
