A 13-year-old boy died after falling from an electric scooter in Ternopil
A child died on the way to the hospital
In the evening on Tuesday, September 15, in Ternopil a fatal accident occurred involving a 13-year-old boy. The child was injured as a result of falling from an electric scooter and died en route to the hospital.
The accident happened at about 19:20 on Brodivska Street. According to preliminary information from the Ternopil Oblast Police, the boy was riding an electric scooter Kukirin G2 on the sidewalk toward Zbarazka Street. He lost control of the vehicle, then fell onto the sidewalk and sustained injuries.
Medics provided assistance to the victim, but they could not save him — the boy died during transportation to the hospital.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all circumstances and causes of the tragedy. The question of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of transport regulations in force — is also being considered.
