As a result of an attack on Mykolaiv that took place the previous day, energy infrastructure facilities and one trolleybus of KP “Mykolaivelectrotrans” were damaged. Windows in the cabin were blown out, but no one was injured.

The mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, reported that the damaged vehicle is planned to be repaired, after which it will again operate on city routes.

Because of the consequences of the attack, local power outages remain in the city, affecting the operation of electric transport. To carry passengers, today all available PTS trolleybuses capable of running autonomously up to 20 kilometers will be put into service. Diesel generators will be used for their operation and subsequent charging.

Service of “Dnipro” trams and trolleybuses is currently suspended. Electric transport will be gradually returned to routes after the situation stabilizes.

The operation of trolleybus No. 8 has also been temporarily changed. It will run from Matviivka to the Railway Station and back, without entering the cemetery. Drivers will additionally announce the direction of travel and the final stop so that passengers can correctly identify the route.

A local electricity supply schedule has been introduced in Mykolaiv: power in some districts will be switched on in rotation.
