In the Mykolaiv region, Russians launched a massive attack on Mykolaiv: one person was killed and five others were injured

Since last night and into the morning, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Mykolaiv. Civilian facilities were damaged as a result of the strikes, and a large fire broke out at one of the locations.

According to the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region, residential buildings, cafes, shops and warehouse facilities were damaged. At the time of the report, 5 people were injured and 1 person was killed.

From early morning rescuers have been working at the sites of the enemy strikes. They extinguish fires, dismantle damaged structures, clear rubble and assist the affected people.

In the response to the attack the following are involved:

• units of the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region;
• police units;
• medical teams;
• volunteers of the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society;
• municipal services.

Rescuers continue to work at locations where fires are still raging, clear debris and provide assistance to people.
