In Ukraine, authorities plan to launch a separate government app where citizens will be able to receive official information about air raid alerts, threats and the movement of Russian attack drones and rockets. The new service will be created on the basis of “Diia”, but it will operate as a separate product. The future service was announced on 3 September 2026 by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyi. According to him, the main goal is to combine up-to-date data on air threats in a single state information space so that people receive it directly from an official source.

Thus, users are expected to be provided with information in one service about the declaration of air raid alerts, the movement of “Shaheds”, other drones and rockets. Authorities hope this will create a single official source of data on current threats instead of requiring people to search for information across different channels and services. As of 4 September 2026, the prime minister did not give a specific date when the new app will become available to Ukrainians. A detailed description of its technical capabilities, the way air target movements will be displayed and other functions has not yet been published.

It is worth noting that “Diia” already has separate features related to safety during the war. In particular, the app allows users to find the nearest shelters, view information about them and plot a route to a safe place.
