After the SCO summit in Kyrgyzstan, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that the Russian army is preparing massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities. According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have received the corresponding order.
Putin linked this decision to Ukraine’s attacks on civilian infrastructure and Russia’s fuel and energy sector, in particular on oil refineries.
Separately he said that on September 1 Ukrainian drones allegedly tried to breach air defenses in the areas of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. According to Putin, these drones were heading to three refineries.
«Having all this in mind… the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have been given an order to prepare and carry out massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities. They are striking ours, they will get a response», — said the Kremlin dictator.
Earlier Nebenzya said Russia was ready to continue the war against Ukraine.
