In Mykolaiv, a drunk man was held accountable for insulting passersby and playing loud music
The patrol officers drew up two administrative reports against the violator
In the center of Mykolaiv, patrol officers held a man administratively liable after he, near a supermarket and in a state of intoxication, used obscene language toward passersby and loudly listened to music from the aggressor country.
A woman reported the situation to the emergency line 102. According to her, among the tracks the man was listening to were songs from the aggressor country. He also insulted passersby and did not respond to people’s remarks.
When the patrol officers arrived, the man had already turned off the music. However, he continued to insult citizens and behaved aggressively. The inspectors identified the offender.
Administrative charges were drawn up against the man under Part 1 of Article 178 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses — appearing in a public place while intoxicated, as well as under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (КУпАП) — petty hooliganism.
“We urge citizens to respect those around them, observe public order, and not disturb the peace of others”
This was stated by the Patrol Police of Mykolaiv Oblast.
Recall, fines of up to 170,000 hryvnias are being proposed for Russian-language music.
