In the Mykolaiv region, the traditional September 1 school line-ups will not be held

In Mykolaiv Oblast, September 1 will not feature traditional ceremonial assemblies near schools. Mass outdoor events were canceled due to security requirements.

This was reported by the acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Heorhii Reshetylov, the Mykolaiv RMA says.

“A decision has been made to limit the holding of public events outdoors until September 1. They may only take place indoors, taking into account all security matters. Thank you for your understanding. The safety of our children is our top priority,” said Heorhii Reshetylov.

Earlier it was reported that schoolchildren in Mykolaiv may ride buses for free.
