In Mykolaiv, hundreds of people ran to honor the Heroes of Ukraine

Mykolaiv residents ran for Heroes of Ukraine. On August 29 in Mykolaiv the 9th All‑Ukrainian run “I Honor the Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine” took place.

This year, due to security measures, the city did not gather participants in one place. Mykolaiv residents joined the run in a dispersed way, each choosing a location and route that was safe for them.

The run included structural divisions of the Mykolaiv City Council, employees of municipal enterprises, as well as hundreds of concerned citizens.

The Department for War Veterans Affairs of the Mykolaiv City Council reports that more than 700 Mykolaiv residents received stickers to participate in the run.

The Mykolaiv City Council sincerely thanks everyone who took part in the event, ran their distance and dedicated it to the memory of Ukrainian warriors.
