In Mykolaiv, 319 children set off for a vacation in the Carpathians
The trips were organized using funds from the city budget
In Mykolaiv, the campaign to provide recuperation for children is coming to an end. Recently, 319 children headed to the Carpathians: a group of 135 went to Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, and another 184 children — to Zakarpattia Oblast.
Altogether, since the start of the recuperation campaign about 600 children have gone on vacation. All trips were organized at the expense of the city budget under the program of health improvement and recreation for children who require special attention and support.
“Today we once again sent children on vacation at the expense of the city budget. Every year Mykolaiv City Council separately allocates funds for the health improvement and recreation of children from privileged categories. These are primarily children of defenders of the Fatherland, orphans, children deprived of parental care, and other categories provided for by the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Health Improvement and Recreation of Children’,” — said the head of the Department for Children’s Affairs, Yuliia Kravchenko.
The children will spend two weeks in the mountain region. The trip will allow them to change their surroundings, rest from anxieties, make new friends and regain their strength.
