65 fires in a day in the Mykolaiv region: one person killed, houses damaged
The fire in Luparove was extinguished over an area of 80 square meters
In Mykolaiv region, 65 fires occurred in the past 24 hours: there is one fatality. In the Mykolaiv region during the day 65 fires were registered: 3 — due to combat operations, 3 — in the residential sector, and 59 — in ecosystems.
While extinguishing a fire in a private residential house in the village of Vodyano-Loryne of the Yelanetska community, Voznesenskyi district, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased man.
As a result of an enemy drone attack in the village of Luparieve of the Halytsynivska community, the roof of a two-storey summer house caught fire. The fire covering an area of 80 sq. m was extinguished.
Also, due to falling munitions, dry grass burned in the Halytsynivska community and harvest residues — in the Chornomorska community.
Most of the other fires involved dry grass, reeds, shrubs, harvest residues and shelterbelts.
The fire of reeds and dry vegetation in the Raketne Tract of Mykolaiv was particularly large. Due to gusty winds, the fire spread to the private residential sector. Damage was caused to 2 private houses and 5 outbuildings.
DSNS units responded to all incidents.
