A man died in an apartment fire in Mykolaiv
The fire in the apartment room was extinguished over an area of 15 sq. m

During August 6 and the night into August 7, 40 fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. In one of them in Mykolaiv a man died.
The fire occurred in a room of an apartment in a ten-storey building. During their inspection of the fire scene, firefighters found the body of the deceased owner, born in 1957.
The fire was extinguished over an area of 15 sq. m.
Almost all other incidents were related to fires in open areas and within the residential sector. The most such episodes were recorded:
- 11 — in Bashtanskyi district;
- 9 — in Mykolaiv district;
- 7 — in Voznesensk district;
- 6 each — in Pervomaisk district and Mykolaiv.
The total area of the fires exceeded 25 ha.
