Two people were killed as a result of drone strikes in the Mykolaiv region
Ships, warehouses and gas stations damaged: consequences of attacks by the Russian Federation in the region
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike UAVs of the “Shahed/Gerbera” type. The consequences of the shelling as of the morning of 16 July 2026 were reported by the Mykolaiv RMA.
As a result of a strike on the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv Raion a 61-year-old man was killed. Two civilian vessels were also damaged: two civilian vessels.
During an attack on an agricultural enterprise in the Novobuzka community of Bashtanka Raion, a 67-year-old man was killed, and another, 65 years old, was wounded. He was hospitalized; the victim’s condition remains severe but stable. Storage facilities and vehicular equipment were damaged.
In the evening the enemy also attacked the Ochakiv community with a strike drone, preliminarily of the “Lancet” type. A gas station building was damaged; there were no casualties.
