8 killed and 35 injured: Zelensky reported strikes on Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and other regions

On Monday, 29 June 2026, Russian occupying forces carried out a series of strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure facilities. As a result of attacks on Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, at least 8 people were killed and a further 35 people were wounded, including a child.
The consequences of the Russian terror were reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
In Dnipro a Russian missile struck an infrastructure facility. A rescue operation began at the attack site, involving all necessary services.
According to the head of state, as of the time of reporting, 5 people were killed as a result of the missile strike. A further 29 people were injured.
Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia. An enemy drone hit an ordinary minibus carrying civilians.
As a result of this attack 3 people were killed and a further 6 people were injured. One of the victims is a child.
In Nikopol the occupiers carried out a repeated strike against rescuers and a fire truck. This attack occurred while emergency services were working to deal with the consequences of a previous shelling.
In addition, the Russians struck energy infrastructure facilities in Sumy, Odesa and Chernihiv regions. Enemy strikes were also recorded in Kherson and Kharkiv regions.
The President emphasized that to protect Ukrainian cities and the civilian population, the country primarily needs additional means to counter ballistic missiles. Volodymyr Zelensky called on European countries to accelerate work as much as possible on their own anti-ballistic defense systems and the interceptors for them.
