A Skoda hit a pedestrian in central Mykolaiv; the man was hospitalized
The pedestrian sustained a head injury
On the morning of Friday, June 26, 2026, on Central Avenue in Mykolaiv, a Skoda Octavia hit a pedestrian. The injured man was taken to hospital.

According to preliminary information, the car was traveling along Central Avenue from Arkasivska Street toward Sadova Street.
Just past the intersection with Soborna Street, the Skoda struck a man who was crossing the roadway from left to right in the direction of the car’s travel — from the side of the Maison restaurant.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian sustained injuries. An ambulance crew arrived at the scene and hospitalized the victim. In footage released from the scene, it is visible that the man’s head was bandaged.
The car’s windshield bore characteristic damage after the collision.
The driver told journalists that the victim looked to be about 50 years old. Also, according to the driver, at the time of the accident the man was holding a bottle of beer.
Official information from the police about the circumstances of the accident and the injured person’s condition has not been released yet.
