The Mykolaiv Oblast Council will spend up to 1.6 million hryvnias on awards and medals
The relevant tender has been published in the public procurement system
Mykolaiv Regional Council plans to procure 1,130 awards, commemorative medals and souvenir coins with a total expected value of almost UAH 1.6 million.
The regional council published the corresponding tender on June 15, 2026 in the public procurement system Prozorro.
The expected procurement cost is 1,599,750 hryvnias. With these funds they plan to purchase sets of awards, which include a breast badge, a certificate and a case, as well as representative and protocol souvenir items.
In total, the regional council is ordering:
- 30 “For Services to the Mykolaiv Region” awards, 1st class;
- 100 “For Services to the Mykolaiv Region” awards, 2nd class;
- 250 “For Services to the Mykolaiv Region” awards, 3rd class;
- 300 “Saint Nicholas Cross” awards;
- 300 “For the Defense of the Mykolaiv Region” awards;
- 75 commemorative medals or coins “Unbreakable Mykolaiv Region” with Ukrainian-language design;
- 75 identical medals or coins with English-language design.
The deadline for submitting tender proposals expired at 11:00 on June 23. The auction has already taken place, but the winner of the procurement has not yet been determined.
The “For the Defense of the Mykolaiv Region” award was introduced in 2024. It recognizes participants in the defense of the region and people who helped ensure its resilience during the full-scale Russian invasion.
A commemorative medal for international partners, foreign guests, representatives of charitable foundations and heads of communities from other regions of Ukraine was approved in May 2026. It will be presented as a token of gratitude for assistance to the Mykolaiv Region in resisting Russian aggression.
