A Ukrainian flag was raised on the Kinburn Spit: the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the occupiers withdrew from their positions
But it's still too early to insist on the complete liberation of the spit
On the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit in Mykolaiv Oblast, a Ukrainian flag was raised. After a strike, Russian forces began abandoning some of their positions.
This was reported on 25 June 2026 by the Regional Command of the Territorial Defense Forces “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which published the corresponding video.
According to the military, the Southern Defense Forces inflicted powerful fire strikes on enemy positions and forced the occupiers to retreat from part of the lines.
“Blue-and-yellow flag on the Kinburn Spit! As a result of powerful fire strikes, the Southern Defense Forces forced the occupiers to retreat from their positions,” the report said.
The Territorial Defense Forces also reported the evacuation of surviving Russian servicemen and that they abandoned defensive lines.
At the same time, this does not yet mean the complete liberation of the Kinburn Spit. The Defense Forces continue combat operations in this direction.
