Constitution Day in Chestnut Square: wind orchestra, workshops, karaoke and social dances
An event as part of the "Art Quarter on Soborna" project; the culmination — the concert "Flowers, Ukraine!"
On Saturday, 28 June, in the Chestnut Square in Mykolaiv, as part of the socio-cultural project “Art Quarter on Soborna”, a series of cultural and entertainment events for Ukraine’s Constitution Day will take place throughout the day.
An extensive program for residents and guests has been prepared by the event organizers, and information about the course of events was published by the Department of Culture of the Mykolaiv City Council.
From 11:00 the square will host exhibitions and sale-exhibitions, as well as the creative platform “Biblio-Drive: a creative workshop under the chestnuts”, organized by the Central City Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi.
At 12:00 a brass band will perform for visitors, and at 13:00 craftswoman Tetyana Verba will hold a master class on making toys from corrugated cardboard.
Singing enthusiasts are invited to the traditional “Karaoke on Soborna”, starting at 14:00.
The key event will be the festive concert program for Ukraine’s Constitution Day “Flowers, Ukraine!”, the start of which is planned for 15:00.
The final part will take place at 17:00 — social dances by the SocialDanceClub studio.
Organizers encourage residents and guests of Mykolaiv to spend the day outdoors in an atmosphere of music, creativity and socializing.
