"Don't be silent, they're still not home": a rally was held in Mykolaiv in support of prisoners
Mykolaiv residents reminded about those who are still not home
In Mykolaiv 21 June 2026 took place another reminder rally in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war and defenders who are considered missing.
The event was joined by 160 people. Among the participants were relatives, friends and acquaintances of servicemen who are still held in Russian captivity or whose whereabouts have been unknown for a long time.
People came to the rally with posters, Ukrainian flags and banners bearing images of their loved ones. They featured photos of service members whom families continue to wait for at home. For participants, such gatherings are an opportunity to once again remind society about Ukrainians who remain in captivity, as well as about those defenders whose whereabouts are still unknown.
Relatives and friends of the servicemen continue to speak publicly about their loved ones so that their names do not disappear from the information space. Each poster and each photograph at such events is the story of an individual and a family living in expectation of news.
The same day, a reminder rally in support of prisoners of war and the missing also took place in Pivdennoukrainsk. Local residents also came out to support the families of defenders and to remind about those who have not yet returned home.
