Drones rained down on Mykolaiv region: one woman injured and damage to a gas station

According to the Mykolaiv OVA, as of the morning of May 7, 2026, Russian forces over the past day again attacked the Mykolaiv region with various types of drones and artillery.

Yesterday the occupiers used Shahed-type UAVs in the region (“Shahed”). As a result of the attack and falling debris in Mykolaiv, a 34-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Windows at a gas station were also damaged.

In the Mykolaiv district, Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities were once again struck. The enemy attacked them twice with Molniya strike drones (“Molniya”), and also used one FPV drone.

As a result of the enemy attack in the village of Dmytrivka, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged. In addition, Russian forces carried out an artillery strike on the Kutsurub community.

According to the OVA, there were no casualties in the communities of the Mykolaiv district.
