Baby-boom pum: a quartet of spotted "cougars" was born in Mykolaiv
Hurry to see these fluffballs, because the babies grow up very quickly
Mykolaiv Zoo shared pleasant news today: their large family has been joined by four baby pumas. The cubs were born on February 23, 2026, and today they are already ready to delight visitors with their playfulness. The parents have their own interesting story:
👉Mother Anda (born 2021) – she arrived from Rivne Zoo. This is not her first litter (in 2024 she gave birth to triplets), and she again proves to be an exemplary mother. Anda is incredibly attentive; she does not leave her cubs for a moment, even shielding them from familiar staff.
👉Father Arman (born 2015) – a native of Mykolaiv, he currently lives in the neighboring enclosure.
Two little brothers and two little sisters have grown and can already delight visitors with their beauty. By the way, the zoo also has their older sister – Amina.
The puma cubs are extremely active and lively. Although they are still very young, their diet, in addition to their mother’s milk, already includes meat.
📍Hurry to see these fluffy little ones, because the cubs grow very quickly, and very soon the small spotted “kittens” will turn into graceful predators.
