Restoring mobility: Hospital No. 3 in Mykolaiv is already using electrical muscle stimulation
The new device was incorporated into comprehensive patient rehabilitation programs
A new device for electromyostimulation is now used daily in the rehabilitation department of Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 3. The equipment, recently acquired by the hospital, has been incorporated into comprehensive recovery programs for patients with neurological and trauma-related conditions.
Electromyostimulation helps activate muscles and support the recovery of their function after injuries and nervous system disorders. It is used as part of comprehensive rehabilitation, taking into account each person’s needs and condition.
The department continues to expand its technological resources and introduce modern approaches to recovery. Combining new equipment, a personalized approach, and comprehensive programs gives specialists more opportunities to help patients regain motor function.
The aim of developing rehabilitation services in municipal healthcare facilities is to help people regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
