A massage therapist in Odesa region will stand trial for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl
The accused is also charged with possessing child pornography
A 59-year-old massage therapist in Odesa Oblast will stand trial on charges of sexually abusing a 7-year-old child and possessing child pornography. The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has sent the indictment to court.
The alleged incidents took place in November 2023, when the man worked as a massage therapist at a private children’s learning center. According to investigators, he sexually abused the girl during two sessions.
Investigators also established that the accused downloaded files containing child pornography from the internet and kept them on electronic storage devices.
During a search in April 2026, law enforcement officers seized a computer. They found video files containing child pornography, as well as 60 photographs.
If convicted, the man faces 10 to 15 years in prison.
