On October 14, rescuers extinguished 6 fires in Mykolaiv Oblast. Of these, 3 were caused by Russian drone strikes. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) published these figures for the previous day in its report on October 15.

Russian forces attacked the region with strike drones. The strikes caused fires at:

  • a warehouse on the premises of an agricultural enterprise in Novyi Buh;
  • dry grass and rubbish in Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk districts — 2 fires in total.

Firefighters extinguished all fires caused by the attacks as quickly as possible. No one was injured.

The other 3 fires broke out in a residential building and in open areas. In Mykolaiv, a room in a private home caught fire, while dry vegetation and rubbish caught fire twice in Voznesensk district. The causes of these fires are still being investigated.
