Two of the six fires in the past 24 hours were caused by combat operations: report from the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv Region
Two houses, four structures, and two garages were saved from destruction
During the day on 25 September and the night into 26 September, the fire and rescue units of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region extinguished six fires. Two of the fires were the result of combat operations.
In the Mykolaiv district, rescuers twice extinguished dry grass and shrubs. The fires ignited after munitions and their fragments landed. Both fires were extinguished as quickly as possible.
Four more fires occurred in the residential sector. The following burned:
- two residential houses;
- one outbuilding;
- one garage.
Fire and rescue units responded to all calls. They saved two residential houses, four outbuildings and two garages from destruction by fire.
