A minibus and a garage caught fire: 11 fires were extinguished in Mykolaiv region in 24 hours — State Emergency Service report

Over the past 24 hours units of the Mykolaiv Region State Emergency Service extinguished 11 fires in open areas and in the private sector of the region.

Three dry grass fires were caused by enemy attacks. Another seven dry grass fires from other causes occurred in the Bashtansky, Mykolaiv and Voznesensk districts.

During the night of 23 September in Pervomaisk rescuers extinguished a minibus and a garage on the grounds of a private property. The total area of the fire was 45 sq. m. The firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to a nearby residential house.

Over 40 rescuers and 10 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fires. In some cases they were assisted by local fire brigade units.
