Restaurants, bars and shops in the Mykolaiv region must close at midnight

From 22 September 2026 the curfew and special blackout regime in the Mykolaiv region are in effect from 01:00 to 05:00. The new regime was introduced by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration by Order No. 30 dated 21 September. Clarifications for businesses were published by the Executive Committee of the Pervomaisk City Council.

Due to the change in the curfew duration, retail outlets and public catering establishments must close exactly at midnight — one hour before the start of the restrictions. By that time, businesses must completely finish serving customers and settling accounts, carry out cleaning and lock up the premises.

This buffer time is needed so that employees and customers can safely get home before the curfew begins. The requirement applies to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Business owners are urged to take the new rules into account when drawing up work schedules and to comply with the established restrictions.
