More than a kilometer of contact wire for electric transport was replaced in Mykolaiv

“Mykolaivelectrotrans” ensures the stable round-the-clock operation of electric transport. Specialists of the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelectrotrans” continue to carry out the necessary maintenance and restoration works on the city’s overhead contact network, including at night.

Night-time work allows maintenance and replacement of individual network elements with minimal impact on electric transport and road traffic.

Since the beginning of 2026, employees of the enterprise’s energy management service have completed a significant amount of work. In particular, replaced: 1077 meters of contact wire; 240 meters of underground cable; 54 joints; 2 contact network poles.

The work is carried out around the clock, including with regard to the security situation and air-raid alerts.

Thanks to the daily work of the company’s specialists, Mykolaiv’s electric transport is able to be on the lines on time and provide passenger transportation.
