In Mykolaiv, the major overhaul of the heating network has entered its final stage

In the Inhulskyi district of Mykolaiv, a large-scale repair of the heating network is being completed. The major overhaul of the heating network in the Inhulskyi district has entered its final stage.

This large-scale project is being carried out by the municipal enterprise ОКП «Миколаївоблтеплоенерго». Currently specialists are installing a new pre-insulated pipe with a diameter of 426 mm. The project’s readiness is at 95%.

The total length of the network is 900 meters. On the section, old pipes are being replaced with modern pre-insulated pipes provided to the enterprise by the international organization UNOPS.

Work began at the beginning of March. The modernization will improve the operation of the boiler house, which serves 18 thousand subscribers: 110 residential buildings, kindergartens, schools, and medical facilities.

The network upgrade will help increase the reliability of heat supply, reduce consumption of gas, electricity and water, and also decrease heat losses.
