A Range Rover overturned near Kobleve: a 22-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger were killed
The accident occurred at around 01:45; another passenger was uninjured
On the night of Saturday, August 22, at about 01:45, a fatal road traffic accident occurred near the village of Kobleve.
According to the police, a 22-year-old driver of a Land Rover Range Rover was driving from a recreational area toward the village. At some point the SUV left the road and then overturned.
As a result of the crash the driver and an 18-year-old passenger died at the scene from their injuries. Also in the vehicle was a 19-year-old man — he was not injured.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the accident. Investigators classified the incident under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of traffic safety rules that caused the death of several people.
The Department for the Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport asks citizens who witnessed the accident or have information about it to call the following numbers: 063-621-46-34 or 102.
Earlier, in Mykolaiv region a driver fatally struck a cyclist and fled the scene of the accident.
