Mykolaiv yachtsmen won five medals at the Ukrainian Championship

In Mykolaiv, from 12 to 16 August, the Ukrainian Sailing Championship was held. Participants competed in the “Ultra” and “420” classes.

Mykolaiv athletes — graduates of the sailing section of CYSS “Atlant” — became champions and prize-winners of the competition.

In the women’s competition in the Ultra M class, the results of Mykolaiv’s female sailors are as follows:

• 1 place — Violetta Voitsek;
• 2 place — Veronika Protsenko;
• 3 place — Vladyslava Fesenko.

Among men in the Ultra M class, the prize winners were:

• 2 place — Andriy Pichurin;
• 3 place — Artem Dzhumaiev.

The athletes were trained by coaches Viktoriia Kovtunenko, Roman Mukovnin and Halyna Shestova.
