Energy sector under attack, communities hit by drones and MLRS: a dangerous day in the Mykolaiv region

Russian occupying forces during 18 July 2026 attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones of the “Shahed/Herbera” type. The region’s energy infrastructure was under enemy attack. As of 07:00 on 19 July 2026 there is no information about casualties.

Also Russian forces continued to terrorize the coastal communities of Mykolaiv Raion. During the day the enemy 4 times attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities with FPV drones.

In addition, the occupiers struck the Kutsurub community, reportedly using a multiple rocket launcher system. According to the regional military administration, no people were injured as a result of these attacks.

Despite no injuries, energy facilities and coastal settlements of Mykolaiv region again came under Russian strikes.
