"Shahed" attacked Mykolaiv region: supermarket burned, warehouse damaged

On the night of 1 July 2026 Russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike drones of the “Shahed” type. As a result of the enemy strikes, a fire broke out and damage to civilian facilities was recorded.

The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported on the consequences of the attacks as of the morning of 1 July 2026.

In Snihurivka a fire broke out in a building materials supermarket as a result of the attack.

The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) in Mykolaiv Oblast published photos and videos of the aftermath of the Russian attack on Snihurivka on the night of 1 July 2026.

As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire ignited in the building materials supermarket. Firefighters extinguished the blaze over an area of 5000 square meters.

While extinguishing the fire, rescuers took into account the threat of a repeated Russian strike.

The response involved 20 rescuers and 5 units of DSNS equipment.

In Nova Odesa a Russian strike damaged a warehouse facility. According to the regional military administration, no civilians were harmed in either case.

Also, during 30 June 2026 Russian forces continued to attack the coastal communities of Mykolaiv district.

The enemy used FPV drones 4 times against the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. There were no casualties as a result of these attacks either.
