In Mykolaiv Oblast, 31 fires were recorded over the past 24 hours, including in the residential sector

On July 18 and during the night of the 19th, 31 fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. Two of them occurred in the residential sector in the city of Mykolaiv. In different districts of the city a utility outbuilding together with dry vegetation and a one-story residential house burned. The total area of the fire in the first episode was 550 sq.m, in the second — 40 sq.m.

Vehicles caught fire three times yesterday:

• in the city of Mykolaiv, in the courtyard of apartment buildings, a TOYOTA Carina was on fire. The fire damaged two other vehicles, but they were saved from complete destruction. The fire area was 6 sq.m;
• in the village of Arbuzynka of the Arbuzynka territorial community, Pervomaiskyi district, a Seat Inka car caught fire. It was extinguished on an area of 6 sq.m;
• in the village of Trudolyubivka of the Snihurivka territorial community, Bashtanka district, a Ford Transit cargo van burned. Here the fire area was 2 sq.m.

Other incidents included fires of standing grain, post-harvest residues, dry vegetation, garbage, shrubs, and reeds. During the day, 1.5 hectares of wheat were destroyed by fire. The total area of the other fires amounted to over 12 ha.
